Client Management Simplified

Effective client management is crucial to the success of any organisation. The ability to capture client data, retrieve records, and analyse information is essential for operational planning, efficient and coordinated service provision, and stakeholder reporting.

For many small to medium sized organisations, however, the range of client management applications available to support organisations can be overly complex and expensive.

Service Record System is an online client management system designed specifically for small to medium sized organisations in the community services sector. Developed in conjunction with Brisbane based Micah Projects, Service Record System was designed to simplify the case management process and assist with organisational workflow.

'Micah did not have an existing integrated client management system when it approached Infoxchange Australia during 2007', says Gerald Palk, Senior Business Analyst with Infoxchange. 'The organisation was looking for a system that would support coordinated case management, complex reporting requirements, and a range of service delivery models, including the provision of information and advice, one on one support, group and outreach work'.

Since Service Record System was first developed, several organisations have implemented the system, including a number of Australian Red Cross programs, community sector organistions such as Mission Australia, and State Government Departments in Queensland and Western Australia.

Central to the success of Service Record System are the ability to customise the system to meet the needs of individual organisations and the application enhancements that are consistently incorporated.

'Service Record System actually improves the way people deliver services', says Christine Allison, Service Manager with Youth and Family Service (Logan). 'Suggestions from other service providers are incorporated and benefit the entire sector, not just an individual agency, Allison adds.

Following similar positive comments from several agencies, many community sector organisations have contracted Infoxchange Australia to implement Service Record System. Infoxchange Australia anticipates that Service Record System will shortly become one of its most popular applications in the Service-to-Service (S2S) suite.
