Introducing our new client management system, SRS

The latest addition to the S2S suite of applications is the Service Record System (SRS), which is a web-based Client Management System. SRS has been designed for those services keen to establish information management and reporting systems that maximise efficiency and effectiveness.

SRS has great flexibility and can be implemented in a single service agency, or within a cluster of services who share a common client base. SRS can also be implemented across multiple services who wish to maintain completely isolated client files.

SRS is a highly configurable application which will enable users to record information specific to their agency and reporting requirements. SRS is currently being used in agencies that work in the community services, housing and disability sectors, including three Queensland homeless hubs (The Cairns Homelessness Service Hub, The Hub in Townsville and Brisbane Homelessness Service Centre). There are also a range of SAAP funded services throughout Queensland using the system (including Centacare in Mount Isa, Anglicare Night Shelter in Cairns, Housing Services at Youth and Family Services in Logan and the Red Cross Heading Home program in Townsville).

SRS has been approved by the Australian Institute for Health and Welfare for electronic submission of SAAP National Data Collection Agency data returns. This means those SAAP services using the system do not need to use any other application to record and submit their data. SRS is also being used by The Next Step program in Logan, overseen by the Queensland Department of Communities, as well as a range of other services. In the latest implementation, the Palm Island Community Council has introduced SRS to support service delivery across a number of its projects on Palm Island in north Queensland.

SRS has been developed over a number of years as part of a collaborative partnership between Infoxchange and Micah Projects Inc. Micah Projects is a leading community services organisation working across the greater Brisbane region. This partnership has led to the development of a web-based client management system which is highly suited to supporting organisations in the human services sector.
