S2S usage in 2009

We have now entered a new decade in 2010 and the S2S team are enjoying our continued relationships with our clients in NSW and VIC. Looking back over 2009, we are proud to say that it has been a fulfilling year. The S2S systems are now used in over 500 agencies/sites comprising of about 1,500 various services or programs.

In Victoria the eWaitlist system is now being used by the aged care assessment teams in all regions (except in the Loddon Mallee region).

In Victoria the eReferral system is integrated with the Royal District Nursing Service (RDNS) client management system Camillus and there is also some integration with GPs using HL7 (via Argus).

The graphs to the left in Victoria, show us that the system is well integrated in both Gippland the eastern region with 27,725 referrals sent in Gippsland in 2009 and 10,545 referrals sent in the Eastern Region. Shortly, there will be more consistency in the eReferral system across the Victorian regions allowing the eastern region to have access to functions that were previously only available to the rest of Victoria. This will coincide with the new release of the SCTT 2009 tools early this year.

In NSW, the eReferral trial in Clarence/Grafton region is continuing with 536 referrals in 2009. The Far North Coast Region of NSW have increased their useage of the eReferral system to 2,574 referrals in 2009, followed by the newest eReferral users in the Southern Region with 1,220 referrals.
